When you have a healthy sense of self-esteem, you are more likely to go after your goals. You are more likely to believe in your dreams and visions if you can see yourself making it.

Life will inevitably throw you challenges. Being positive can make you more resilient. That is because you would believe that there is a greater good. You would be able to view your setbacks as lessons that can propel you forward.
If you are not inclined to positivity, you are much more likely to always give up and have the victim mentality in life.
Positivity Makes for Good Leadership
To lead effectively, you need to draw people into your goals and mission. They need to know that you genuinely care. If you do not believe in your goals and mission, why should other people join you?
Being positive is what fosters and encourages motivation with your team to keep working towards the mission you set out to accomplish.
Your Environment & People Affects Your Positivity
The environment and people you surround yourself with will affect your positivity. This means that you must be careful of the people you surround yourself with. Some people carry a very negative energy and if you let them, they will steal your joy.
You must have boundaries. Be mindful of where you go to. Be mindful of what words you allow into your system. Nobody has the permission to take away your light.
Positivity Requires Work & Effort
People often say, “try being positive,” or “be happy.” Those words carry weight. Positivity and happiness are not going to fall from the sky. It takes work and effort from you.
You have to be intentional about doing what bring you joy. You have to be intentional about surrounding your space with what is good. If not, you will keep sinking into a dark hole.
Your Wellness Affects Your Positivity
How you take care of your body and health will affect your mood. Exercise is crucial. Making time to exercise affects your endorphins. This means that it will boost your mood and happiness levels.

We are all human. No one is going to be able to be positive all the time. We will go through difficult times, and it can bring us to sadness. This is alright. You do not have to deny the fact that you are not alright.
Allow yourself to experience all your emotions. Allow yourself to feel what needs to be felt. Working towards a better state of mind will require feeling and releasing emotions.
Being Positive Leads to Success
Positivity can lead to success. However, it is not all that is needed to achieve your goals. In addition to having the right mindset, you must be willing to put in the work.
You need to implement your goals. You need to try. Talking about positivity is one thing. Another thing is bringing positivity into different areas of your life to achieve your goals.
